Tips for Affiliate marketing.

Every, or maybe that should be, most affiliate marketers are always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck.

Some think there is a magic formula that is readily available for them if only they could find it.

Actually, it is both more complicated than that and easier than that. The magic formula is good marketing practices that have been proven over many years and of course, hard work and dedication.

There are basic formula’s that have worked before with online marketing and are continuing to work in the growing online affiliate marketing world of today. With these 3 simple affiliate marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are the basic formula’s?marketing Simple Affiliate Marketing tips

1. Using unique web pages

to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save time, effort or  money. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every separate niche and nothing more.

Always have product reviews on your website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the products can do to and for those who buy them. Include testimonials from those who have already tried the product if you can. Check that your customers are willing to allow you to use their names and/or photos on the site of the product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive, compelling and include calls to action on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free downloadable ebooks

to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.b;og

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospective customer leaving the page and never returning again. By placing useful information into their email inboxes at certain specified times, you will remind them of the product they thought they wanted to buy and hopefully will return later. Be sure that your content gives them specific reasons to buy the product. Don’t make it sound like a sales pitch because that can be off putting. The hard sell approach no longer works, people tend to back away.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life easier and more enjoyable and or solve a problem they may have. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free ebook that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the right kind of traffic

that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 800-1500 words in length, preferably more. By continuously writing good content you can generate more targeted readers to your site per day.
Always remember that only a small percentage of the people visiting your site are likely to buy your product or your services. Which is why we try to generate as much traffic as possible to our websites each day.

The tips given above are not difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires time and action on your part, especially with writing content. The saying is: ‘Content is king’.

  1. Good advice and easy to follow! The three simple pointers are excellent advice for both newbies and more experienced affiliate marketers. It is easy to try to throw everything in the face of visitors to your website or on social media. Keep ti simple and there will be faster results.

Email lists are important. Together with constant content added to your website, this will power up anyone´s affiliate marketing business. This will draw interest to you, which you can leverage in many ways. Offering freebies like an ebook is a great incentive to get re-curring visitors.

The last advice to keep your niche “clean” is one of the “must do” for everyone. Not narrowing down your niche will only cause the visitors to your site to become confused and leave your site and never return.

Regarding offering a free ebook, have you tried out different types of freebies to analyse what works better than other types of free stuff?

Thank you for a good article,

I must admit that I thought the same before I got into it. Like you I soon realised it was nothing like that. Now I love it and the creativity and versatility it brings to my life.

My hope is that it will help those that don’t know these things whatever stage they are at.

  3. These are very practical tips for affiliate marketers. Thanks for writing this. They are simple but may not be easy to follow. Knowledge is not power, but just potential power. It will only become power if we take action on the knowledge. Many people failed to take action for whatever reasons, and those who do, eventually can’t manage consistent action. It is a phenomenon. We need the right platform and community and mentor to find our success.

    • Very good points there Richard and of course very true. I suppose I am remiss in thinking that if someone has made the effort to learn, then they will put the knowledge to good use.

Of course that will not be true of everyone. Thank you for pointing that out, it is an excellent reminder not to make assumptions.

We certainly do need the right platform and community. The right work ethic too and the ability to keep learning and going forwards.until our goals are reached. Not sure about the mentor part as I have never felt the need for one as yet.

Thank you for reading and commenting.
