Debunking Blogging Myths Part 2

Debunking Blogging Myths Part 2

So, did you see the first post Debunking Blogging Myths Part 1?  This post is a continuation of that post, mainly because I felt it would be far too long a post if I put them all into one. I know many people don’t like overly long posts and that includes me. I get put off by too lengthy a post especially if it rambles on rather than getting to the point and there is also the time factor too.

So that is why we have Debunking Blogging Myths Part 2, rather than having all in one post! Does that make sense to you?

Bloggers NEED….

Good Writing Skills

Nope! You just need to be able to write well!

What does that mean?  I have read numerous blog posts that are poorly written. They have spelling mistakes, bad grammar and sometimes don’t even make sense .

There have been posts where I am horrified by the advice given but then realise that maybe that is the norm in their part of the world. writing skills be an expertIt is important to realise that our posts can be read worldwide just as we read posts from all corners of the earth.
So you don’t need top writing skills just an ability to write in a way that connects with your readers and be able to write posts that help.

You have to be an expert!

Do you think every expert started out that way? No, they learnt as they went along. You gradually become an expert by researching thoroughly and learning as you go.

Again, I think people are put off starting their own blog because they’re not an expert at what they want to talk about.
Whilst it helps to have something that makes you qualified to talk about your blog topic, you certainly don’t need to be! People read blogs for the personal touch. As long as you’ve got experience in what you write about that’s fine.
It’s also totally okay to not be an expert once you start but to understand you’ll learn more about it as you blog more. Many people think they need to know a lot even if they aren’t an expert but it’s not true.

Posting More Means You Will Get More Traffic

At the start you need to build your content, so the more you post the better. In the early days though, it won’t bring more traffic but it will help build trust with Google.

I had a craft blog that I used to post on daily with a different theme each day. Once it became established it got a lot of traffic but it became too much. Instead of establishing a once or twice a week pattern, I let it lapse because life got so busy and something had to go.

So its better to establish a steady routine of posting than overdo it. As you build it up the traffic will increase gradually.

People Will Just Find Your Blog

Sadly no!

You write an amazing blog post with fabulous images, press publish, and ……. nothing. Why is nobody reading it? My post is brilliant!
However good the post no one will come to read it until they know you are there. increase blog traffic, social mediaThe internet is a big place, there are many businesses, websites and blogs and unless you TELL people where you are they won’t know.
You have to actually put effort into getting traffic to your blog. It’s better to post less often, write posts that are optimised for Google, and promote them more. Because otherwise, nobody will read them!

Use every Social Media Platform

A myth many bloggers believe is that as soon as you begin a blog you must have an account for every single social media platform there is.
Eventually, you will but too many too soon will be overwhelming. Trying to tackle too many social media platforms at once will mean you’ll spread yourself too thin.
On top of all the other blogging tasks, it will be too much.

By all means, get accounts on each of them. Spend a bit of time looking at each and decide which one to start on then learn all you can and spend time growing that account. Then pick the next favourite and so on. It will be a time consuming task at the start but as you get used to it you will get faster and it won’t be such a chore.

Blogging Is Dead

This came up in a search on Google. This means people want to know if it’s true.

It’s not dead or even dying, it’s alive and well and still growing. Is blogging dead

From Google:

  • No, blogging isn’t dead in 2021
  • Bloggers have to adapt and create new business models if they want to keep achieving consistent results with their blogs. … That’s because both of these practices are now placed under the wider umbrella of content marketing rather than personal or corporate blogging.

So even now its a growing market.

Is Blogging still relevant

This was another search term I spotted that made me pause and think.

It is more relevant now than it ever was. Why? Because people go to blogs when they have a problem that they need a solution for.

How to fix something

The best way to plan a garden or grow something

How to find that unusual piece that will finish off the look of a newly decorated room.

What to buy as a gift for a certain age group.

What to do if a baby won’t stop crying

and so on…… For many, the blogs have become the family that used to live round the corner, the friend they lost contact with. That person who could always be relied upon to give a sensible solution.

Conclusion

Blogging is not an easy option. It can take time to learn all you need to know and to find your ‘voice’. It can even take time to find the niche you want, very likely with a few changes of mind.

We have learnt that its not a case of ‘Build it and they will come’. It takes hard work to get them to come and visit. But once the traffic starts flowing from Google that will build and sharing on social media should bring a steady visitor stream.

BUT …. It’s not all hard work, once you get into the swing of it, it’s fun. I love it and love the life it brings.

An Easy Guide to Affiliate Marketing

The easy guide to Affiliate Marketing

This is an easy guide to affiliate marketing, just the basics really because a lot of people have no idea what it is. Some that do have a vague idea, think it is something dodgy. Trust me, it’s not.

So what is it?

From Wikipedia:

  • Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts

Does that help or make any sense? Not really? Not surprised, I had no idea either when I began this journey.

This is not a completely extensive guide to affiliate marketing, just the basics really because a lot of people have no idea what it is.

Affiliate marketing can be a little bit like the wind. We know it exists. We understand to an extent what it does we don’t really know how to harness it or be able to use it to its best capabilities.

How I found it

I was minding my own business, running an online craft business, when my daughter said…. DRUM ROLL ……  “You should be an influencer with all the sTwitter followers you have”. Now I had not come across influencers, had maybe been vaguely aware of them but basically had no idea what they did. Said daughter’s input was… “they recommend stuff and get paid well.” I liked the sound of that, who wouldn’t?

Influencers

So my interest was piqued. I went looking. A few companies you could sign up to. Didn’t give out any information that I could find. Kept looking and eventually signed up with one. Still had no idea what I was doing.

So they ‘tested’ me. Gave me various links to tweet. I could do that, so I did. Nothing happened at all, just given more. Took me a couple of months to realise I was an idiot and advertising for them for free.affiliate marketing and influencer marketing. An Easy Guide to Affiliate Marketing

That did put me off, a lot. Forgot about it for a bit, then started looking again. I found bits and pieces of information and the word affiliate kept cropping up.

Affiliate

Yep, you guessed it! I went off at a tangent and started following that lead. The more I searched, the more it seemed to me that the two terms were the same. Or at least, that was the way it seemed to me at that time. They did seem to me to work the same way.

Affiliates recommended products, books and courses etc, then if someone bought them, they earned money. That was affiliate marketing.

Influencers recommended mainly products, expensive ones, to their followers and then got paid. I was a bit sketchy on the details but that seemed to be the way they worked. Simple right?

 Not So Simple

So I kept looking for any information on affiliate marketing. Phew, there were a lot of dodgy looking ‘systems’ out there. I am lucky that I have good intuition that held me back and stopped me being scammed. After a while I could spot the scammers a mile away.

If it sounds and looks to good to be true, then it usually is!

So eventually I came across one that looked legitimate and let me inside for free to start learning.

Simply Affiliate Marketing

So, affiliate marketing is earning commission from products you recommend. So we knew that but how do you earn the commissions?what is affiliate marketing

Mainly by setting up a blog, whether that’s somewhere like blogger, which is free, or a wordpress website for which you will need to pay for hosting, is up to you. If like me when I started you knowing nothing, then you will save yourself a lot of time by learning what it entails first.

It can be as easy as setting up a blog and just writing whatever you fancy. It’s what I did with my first blog.

Check out my first blog HERE!

BUT….. yes a very BIG but…. that won’t make you money, won’t become a business!

Making blogging a business

Is that what you really want? To create a business and build it up so you can give up working that daily JOB?

A job is something that makes money for someone else and often leaves you stuck in a place you don’t want to be, living a life you aren’t happy in. Sound familiar?

I must warn you though, it is hard work and will take a big chunk of your time. You will see little or no return for months or maybe even a year or two. That depends upon how much time you have to give to it and much of yourself you are prepared to put into it. And most of all, whether you have the right mindset.

So what makes a blog a business?

YOU! So you choose a niche/topic, set up your blog/website and start writing. Sounds simple doesn’t it? It can be quite tough sitting there staring at a blank page and that’s before you know about keywords, SEO, analytics, marketing and much more.

There is a lot to learn about the best way to go about it. Especially if you want to save yourself years of effort that amounts to nothing.

There are free courses about blogging of course, they are worth trying but find recommendations to save you time sifting through them.

I recommend:Free starter Membership to Wealthy Affiliate.

If you want a paid course that teaches you everything you need to know about blogging and Affiliate Marketing, then I suggest Wealthy Affiliate. Read more about what is offered HERE!!

Conclusion

Starting a blog can be simple and easy if you start with a free platform like blogger. It is easy to set up and organise the layout, as a complete novice 9/10 years ago I managed it.

To make it successful you need to post regularly. Success equates to the amount of traffic you get. I have revived this blog early this year because it was still receiving traffic despite not being touched for a 2/3 years. So it was still showing up in google, that I call a result.

My blog on Blogger is HERE!

If you sign up for a Wealthy Affiliate Free trial you get lessons to try out and the first shows you how to set up a WordPress website step by step.

It gives a great sense of achievement when you do it. It did for me as I had avoided WordPress thinking it would be too complicated and difficult to do. WordPress gives you the ability to build a website the way you want it to be, you are able to be more creative.

It is not a get rich quick way to earn money but then neither are all the so called  “systems” out there. It takes hard work, a lot of time, the right mindset, determination and persistence.

BUT, it is satisfying, enjoyable, exciting and fun. Plus it gives the freedom to work the hours YOU want and you can work anywhere.

Did you find this An Easy Guide to Affiliate Marketing easy to follow and understand?  Let me know in the comments.

Debunking Blogging Myths Part 1

Debunking Blogging Myths Part 1

I suspect many of us have heard at least some of these blogging myths that get trotted out on a regular basis, especially to those of us that blog.

I have heard a few myths just lately so I thought I would do some research and was actually surprised by how many there are rolling around. So this post wasn’t too lengthy, I decided to write 2 posts on the subject. This one is Debunking Blogging Myths Part 1.

Following this one is Debunking Blogging Myths Part 2. I admit the second title is not very original but it serves its purpose.

BLOGGING:

Isn’t A Real Job

So compared to a 9-5 job working for someone else, I suppose it doesn’t seem that way. blogging is a jobYou don’t clock on and off but that’s because you set your own hours. I think it may be the fact that you set your own hours that makes people think that way.
If you’re working hard and getting paid for it, it’s a job. And that’s what blogging is, hard work!
Nevertheless, this is often a blogging myth, one to be ignored. Blogging is a real job.

Doesn’t make M0ney

It’s not a regular wage until you have become well established, even then its not a certain income. Things like the pandemic took away many a blogger’s lifestyle and earnings.  Yet before many travel bloggers were big earners, it just took a virus becoming a Pandemic very quickly to destroy that income. However, there were many who’s blogs really took off BECAUSE of the pandemic.

It does & doesn’t

Cycling, home gyms, exercise for all ages, healthy lifestyles etc. These and many more became very popular as traffic increased dramatically and sales followed.
There are also many aspiring bloggers who don’t make any money at all yet for a variety of reasons. There are also bloggers who only make small amounts of money. Earnings depend upon effort put in, consistency with posting, interesting topics and of course time to get established
If you don’t believe me, you only got to read some income reports from bloggers. Some of them make $50,000. Per month.

Only does well in popular niches

Some niches or topics have a lot of well established websites and well known bloggers that already have built up trust, so people go back.  Plus some are in a niche where people want to buy.
For example, people that read beauty blogs are literally looking to shop for products. And people who read recipes need the ingredients to form the recipe. So it’s easy to link to these products and make money when people use the link to buy it.
But you could be in either of those and not make any money at all.
The pandemic has shown that being popular one minute doesn’t mean you will stay that way without effort.

A less well known niche can make money because they don’t have the same competition but again it takes work.

needs Page Views to make Moneytraffic. Debunking Blogging Myths Part 1

Just because you’ve got people reading your blog doesn’t mean it’ll be profitable. There are bloggers with 100,000+ views a month that don’t make anything. Because they haven’t monetised it! I know this for a fact as 1o years ago I had a blog but knew nothing about monetising it. It was very popular and I blogged daily, eventually I let it lapse. If only I had known then what I know now.

More page views can mean you make money from adverts and affiliate links. So in that case more traffic/page views can mean more money.
You can still make money with hardly any page views, and have many page views and make nothing.

Is Free

Yes it can be free if you start a blog on a free platform like blogger. You can still monetise the blog but you don’t have the freedom to alter it the way you can a wordpress website/blog.

If you go for a wordpress website there are some platforms that still have a free basic site. If you want to be serious about blogging, make money and eventually live off it, then you may want to get more freedom to arrange your blog the way you want it to be.

That introduces costs with a domain name and website hosting. Some products you review you will buy first. You need a decent camera for photos. If you wanted to know more you could do a blogging course to get you up  and running faster. That may entail cost too, although there are free courses if you go looking.

Is Easy

This blogging myth is quite common for those who know nothing about it. From an outsiders point of view just sitting on your computer looks easy. They don’t see the research, the time spent building social media or the constnt teaking to improve the blog. Then of course there is so much to learn about SEO and keywords to optimise your blog. It is a constant learning curve.

You need to blog regularly to keep the content fresh and keep your readers coming back. For some the words flow freely but others struggle with ideas for new posts or just with putting their thoughts in to words.

Is Just WritingDebunking Blogging Myths Part 1 1

Once I got the hang of it, I loved writing my first blog but it was time consuming. I wrote about my own crafts and would showcase other crafts by having a different theme each day. Searching for different crafts, checking with each person that it was okay, writing it, adding pictures and then of course adding it to all the social media platforms so people would know there was a new post available. In retrospect, the writing was the easy part, it was everything else that took up much of the time.

Bloggers need to be photographers, graphic designers, web designers, social media managers, and a heck of tons more. So blogging myth number 2 debunked- bloggers don’t just blog.

Conclusion

Blogging is not an easy option at all. When you work for yourself you tend to put in many more hours than you ever did working for someone else.

It’s not easy at all but it is very satisfying when people come to read your post and they find it useful. Perhps they learn something or maybe it makes them want to try whatever you just wrote about. We are here to help people to find answers.

To what? Anything really. Problems, curiosity, the need to learn more, perhaps something obscure they are looking for. When people go looking on Google, they type in their queries. Then Google brings up the variety of sites that have a matching keyword to what they want to know.

Then we regularly check the numbers and if they rise, however slowly, it is gratifying and exciting.

I LOVE it!

Rank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021

Rank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021

So what is the Rank Math plugin and what is it for? It’s a Search Engine Optimization plugin for WordPress websites that makes it easy for anyone to optimise their content (blog posts). Does that answer the question? No? That’s why I am doing this Rank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021.

Why is it basic? To whet your appetite for more. Too much information all at once can be offputting, so I am showing you why it is so good without overloading you with detail.

Why I care!

I came across it early last year and decided to try it out on one of my websites. Why? Because it seemed like a good idea as SEO has always been a bit of a mystery to me. Well, we can’t always pick up everything all at once.

My websites all had the ‘all-in-one-SEO plugin’. Maybe I could have done more with that but I have no idea what and now I don’t need to learn about it.

Though to be honest, SEO is still a mystery to me, I find it complicated. But luckily for me, I discovered the Rank Math plugin and downloaded the free version to test out on one website. It wasn’t long before I added it to all my websites.

I liked it so much and was so impressed that I went for the multi-site Pro version! I have to say, that for me, it was worth every penny.

Anything that helps my business is wonderful in my book!

Want to know more?

I am not very technical at all. Things that are complicated I devour in small bite size pieces to integrate it better. What has that got to do with the Rank Math plugin? Read on!

I was amazed by it. I left everything on the default settings mainly because I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. Then I started looking at my posts because you should go over older posts anyway to tweak and improve them. Freshen them up as they say.

Well, it gave me suggestions for improvements! I like that. The more things I changed, the more all these green lights appeared.

It gives an SEO score on each post and for the first time my score had gone up a lot. I tweaked titles and added the focus keyword into the post more.

The score turned green!!!! How cool was that?

It took time but I optimised all my posts until I had a green light on each for the first time..

How it all Began

Lots of the people at Rank Math were well known bloggers before they started Rank Math & MyThemeShop. Their experiences in blogging was the catalyst that pushed them into creating Rank Math. During their various blogging careers they used a great variety of products. Despite many of then being first class, they never found a perfect solution for SEO.

There are many SEO plugins for WordPress, as you probably know, that have lot’s of features and are well made. However, none of them seemed complete, each seemed to have something missing.
Around three years ago, they decided to repair the matter once and for all. They began to form the last word SEO plugin for WordPress which may dwarf the opposite SEO plugin in features, usability, and speed. Rank Math was born.

Their goal has always been to help fellow bloggers around the world with high-quality WordPress products and creating this product was important to them.

Let’s look at a Summary of the Rank Math FeaturesRank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021

Over three years, they created and perfected Rank Math to be the last word SEO plugin. Rank Math is more advanced, has more features, and is more powerful than other SEO plugins.

Rank Math

  1. Solves SEO problems that you simply didn’t even know you had. for instance, Rank Math has an in-built keyword rank tracker which tracks your post’s position within the SERPs. Not only that, but Rank Math also emails you when your posts first start appearing within the search results. this provides you an unprecedented advantage to optimise your posts around new keywords.
Rank Math does all that while saving you money that you would have paid out for a rank tracker.
  2. Migrating from other SEO plugins is very easy. Rank Math can copy all the specified settings from your existing plugin during one click. you’ll start taking advantage of Rank Math’s power just a few minutes after installation.
  3. Advanced SEO Analysis – Rank Math features a sophisticated SEO analysis and testing tool. This tool performs quite 20 SEO tests on your website and recommends you the only settings to understand the foremost traffic.
  4. Setup Wizard – The plug in automatically configures itself once it is installed. The installation and setup wizard helps you to connect to the Rank Math site via Google so it works straight away.
  5. Advanced Redirection Manager – Rank Math allows you to found out and manage many redirects during a few clicks. Importing and exporting redirects is simple and quick, and you will set individual redirects as 301 or 302 redirects.
  6. 404 Monitor – Broken links are hard to hunt out and fix. Rank Math’s advanced 404 monitor finds all the 404 links on your site and allows you to redirect them in just a few of clicks.
  7. Bulk Title and outline Editor – Keywords within the title have a big SEO impact. Rank Math’s bulk editing feature allows you to update all of your post’s titles and descriptions in bulk, saving you time and money.search engine verification. Rank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021
  8. Search Engine Verification – Rank Math allows you to verify your website with multiple search engines and social networks right from your WordPress Admin.
  9. Google Webmaster Integration – Rank Math integrates with Google Webmaster tools to fetch your website’s index status and other ranking data. This data is then presented in a simple to know way, right inside your WordPress admin.
  10. Automated Image SEO – Properly optimized images are essential for image SEO. Rank Math automatically appends images with ALT tags and Title tags to reinforce your image SEO.
  11. Multiple Rich Snippet Support – Using the proper meta tags has never been easier with Rank Math’s native Rich Snippet Support. Rank Math can add news, article, blog, recipe, video and more meta tags to your content with the press of a button.
  12. News Sitemap – If you run a news site, you’ll love the news sitemap feature in Rank Math. This feature creates a Google-compatible news sitemap and allows you to submit it in just a few of seconds.
  13. Video Sitemap – Rank Math’s video sitemap feature helps in getting your videos indexed quickly. in only a few of clicks, Rank Math can create a compatible video sitemap which you’ll undergo multiple search engines.
  14. Local SEO Optimization – Ideal for local businesses as they can take advantage of Rank Math’s Local SEO optimisation features. Using these features ensures that your local business website ranks in Google for your intended keywords.
  15. WooCommerce Support – The wonderful features of Rank Math aren’t limited only to blogs. E-commerce websites can also leverage Rank Math to optimize their product pages for more traffic with the WooCommerce integration.

What do I think?

I love this plug-in unreservedly. It has a set up wizard that takes you through the process step by step, simple and easy, just the way I like it.

It has made a massive difference to my website as it leads me through the different things I need to check before pressing publish.

When I first got this and it showed me SEO scores, I had 20-30 if I was lucky. Being in the green was a far off dream.

As I worked through old posts using it the scores gradually changed from red, to yellow and then to green which was celebration time.

The first few took the longest, as always, but I soon got the hang of it and the rest were a bit quicker. It wasn’t long before I put it on all my websites and I have never regretted it. After having so much of an improvement I decide to go for the PRO version and I have to say it is even better.

Conclusion

This is, in my opinion, an excellent plugin. This helped me enormously to get my SEO up to scratch on published posts and on all the posts I have written since. Anything that aids  my success and saves me time is good.

If you want to improve your SEO alone, this is worth getting for that but there is so much more to it. With the Pro version the features are continually growing and improving. Plus for now, with the PRO version, you get to use it on as many websites as you like.

I suspect in the future you may need to pay a higher price to use on more websites, a good reason to get it now.

Although, I will say, try the Free version first, after all what suits me, may not suit you. Having said that though, I think you will probably love it as much as I do.

Did this Rank Math Plugin Basic Review 2021 help you at all?

Breaking through the Glass Ceiling

Breaking through the Glass Ceiling

Is there a glass ceiling? Is it real? What is the Glass ceiling and is breaking through the glass ceiling possible?

Why don’t we find out what it means first?

Definition of Glass Ceiling from SociologyDictionary.org

  • An artificial, unseen, and often unacknowledged discriminatory barrier that prevents otherwise qualified people such as women and minorities from rising to positions of leadership and power, particularly within a corporation.

There we have it, an unseen barrier to prevent people from rising higher than others think they should.

The pastBreaking through the Glass Ceiling

In the past, this was a real occurrence happening to many people, deliberately to discriminate against some parts of society. In recent years there have been laws to prevent discrimination, especially in the areas of age, gender, race and skin colour.

An example of discrimination that no longer happens: Over 40 years ago my husband and I applied for a mortgage. We were told that only his wages counted because I would leave work to have a baby. Though this was true of me, it wasn’t true of everyone and regardless, the bank was discriminating against me because I was a woman and possibly fertile.

When I was a child, my mother applied for a mortgage to buy the house we were renting. She was an export manager in a well-known quality shoe company, earning good money. Yet she was told she needed a male guarantor. That male guarantor did not have such a good job or earn as much but it was okay because he was male. And supposedly more trustworthy?

Now this would be considered discrimination.

But it doesn’t happen now!

Does it happen now? Yes, I think it does. Not so overtly but it still goes on in so many ways because people grow up with prejudices.

WHY? Because they are the product of their upbringing. Where they live, country and area, what their parents and grandparents did workwise. How poor or well off they were, whether life was a struggle or easy. Even what they believed about the world, other people and even religion.

Workplaces still discriminate on the basis of previous workers very often. Say they have a young man or woman of a particular age, say early 20’s. If they were lazy, always on their phone, arrived late, left early etc, without realising it themselves, they would avoid hiring the person of that gender and age, however good they might seem.

What does that matter to you?the past. The future is ours

We may think we are modern free-thinking people but our views are still coloured by the past. We picked up beliefs from the adults around us growing up, family, teachers, friends and even acquaintances. Those beliefs of theirs were picked up the same way.

When an election was looming once, one of my daughters said, “We are Conservative/Labour/Liberal because you are”. Immediately, I said  “No, it doesn’t work like that. You have to do research, then make up your own mind”. I told them the same about religion.

As a child, I wasn’t preached to about religion or politics but many children are and of curse this affects their views if the world.

Everything is different now

No, it’s not. No one is born discriminating against another person. A baby doesn’t discriminate. Watch a group of toddlers playing, they don’t label other children, they just play together.

We discriminate against ourselves. How often do you think you can’t have your own business? You probably heard “People like us can’t do things like that” Whether “that” is a better job, your own business, going to university, having a big house or a brand new car or even regular holidays a year.

Many many people believe they cannot aspire to be and do better. But I am telling you, They are WRONG!

YOU are NOT Your Past!let you past make you better not bitter

Well okay, you are a product of your past.  A mix of all the family that went before with beliefs and habits that come from everyone you have ever known up till now.

Is it fixed in stone? NO!

You are free to choose your own path. You are free to choose what you do and where you go.

Many never move away from the area they grew up in. Many more follow similar paths to their parents. Grow up, get a job, buy or rent a house, have a family, watch them grow up, stay in the same job till retirement. Leave work and continue to do what you always did, except working, until you die!

Sound a bit harsh? Think about it though, that path is true for a lot of people.

Do YOU want more?

Yes? Me too.

Stop caring what other people say. They don’t matter, YOU do! This is your life, do you want to live or exist? How about being happy? Doing work you love and living life on your own terms IS Happiness.

Every time you feel doubt, tell yourself: “I CAN DO THIS”.

You want to start an online business but are worried about failing? How about thinking ‘SUCCESS’ thoughts.

You don’t have to jump in with both feet, throwing caution to the winds. Why not start it alongside your job? To build a solid business online that will keep growing does take time. It won’t happen overnight.

Breaking through the glass ceilingBreaking through the Glass Ceiling

YOU can do it. Many have grown their dreams beyond the sky. There is no limit to what you can do and achieve. Once you truly understand and take that on board you will realise that you can be and do anything you want to.

The only limitations are in your mind. They are learned over many years but you can get rid of them. Learn to recognise when you hold back, when you doubt. Note your thoughts, think back to when you used to hear those words.

Tell yourself: “That is NOT me. They are not MY words.” Replace them with “I can and will do this”. Or “I can do anything I choose and be successful.” Anything along those lines is good. Choose words and phrases that uplift and motivate you.

Conclusion

You don’t have to break the glass ceiling because there was never one there in the first place. What you do have to break free of is the limits you have in your head. Being creative can often help with that as it sets your mind free. Time spent being creative is never wasted.

I always told my daughters when they were young that they could be anything they wanted to be. They just had to be prepared to work hard to get to there. I always wanted them to know that they had the ability, if they chose to use it.

That holds true for all of us!

If your imagination can dream it, then you can do it!
