We are taught by teachers and parents that we learn, get a job, struggle for years to become independent, have our own place, continue the struggle until eventually it’s not so much of a struggle.

Shouldn’t we be taught that the world is there to explore and horizons there to be expanded. We should be saying, I can, not I can’t, or, I will have a go, I will try. Think outside the box, life is more exciting that way.

It’s time to push back the narrow walls defining your life and open it up to new experiences, a new way of working and living.

What does J.O.B mean?

I have often heard people say it means Just Over Broke! 

Is that really the best way to live? Do we really want to spend our whole lives on a treadmill, just about keeping our heads above water financially? Never quite having enough to live the life we want without going into debt.

Maybe you are in debt, the wage never being quite enough for basic expenses. Then you have newspapers, TV and social media online constantly telling you that life is about meals out, holidays and long weekends away. If you fall into the trap of believing it, you end up in debt that makes the struggle even harder.

It’s like a never ending treadmill or rather, more like a hamster wheel.

SO, why are you here?

Because you are tired of the never ending hamster wheel I suspect.

Is there really a better way? YES there is! Can you really earn enough to give up the job you are tired of? The one where no matter what you do, you are never appreciated. The one where the more you do the less you are thought of. The one that never pays enough so you are trapped in the endless barely surviving mode.

Now you are searching. Maybe just started or maybe you have been looking for a while.

If you have been looking for a while you will have seen the endless ‘systems’ talked about on video’s showing either a big house and sports car, or a beach scene with someone on a laptop.

They look tempting those offers. Many say you will start earning within a few days. So you start thinking that yes it’s a big outlay but you could make that back within a couple of weeks. Maybe you did do that and lost your money, hopefully you didn’t.

So what can you do?

There are choices.

Making something to sell such as crafts.

For this you need to either set up shop on a big site, have your own website to sell from or some people sell direct from Facebook and or other Social Media.

I have done this for years.

It takes time to set up a shop with all the photos, writing the listings etc but once that’s done, if you are selling the same things you can copy the listings and adjust accordingly so that gets easier. You need time to advertise on social media to keep the orders flowing in. And it can take a few years to get established and selling well.

Many also do craft markets in their local area to increase sales. Pricing is very important to ensure you earn enough for time and materials used.

What else is there?

Selling products you buy in bulk to sell on via a shop on a big or website as above. Many people do this and earn a decent wage once established. You do need to have space to store the stock though.

If you don’t have storage space then Drop shipping is another option. Finding a wholesaler with products you are happy to sell via a website. It helps to write blog posts about the products and many experienced drop shippers suggest buying and testing products first to ensure the quality. That of course is a personal choice, plus if you aim to sell a large array of products, it could get expensive.

There are sites where you can do freelance writing. I haven’t ever done this but apparently it doesn’t pay that well or you would need to be doing it a while to get better paid I imagine.

There are jobs online doing research, paid surveys,  tutoring, product testing and more. If you google online jobs there are sites you can sign up to and find out more.

Then there is affiliate marketing which I also do.

This is a good time to be going into business online. More people than ever are working from home, whether for a company or for themselves.

 

The current world population is 7.7 billion people.It’s fascinating to see the numbers changing. See HERE for the Live Numbers!

There were 4.39 billion internet users  in January 2019 and they are increasing constantly.

This was a 9 percent increase of  366 million since January 2018. I suspect it may be a bigger increase by January 2020.

There were 3.48 billion social media users in January 2019. The worldwide total had grown by 288 million, 9 percent again, since January 2018. Again, the figures continue to increase.

As you can see the expansion rates are phenomenal. Internet users are constantly increasing which means more customers.

There was an estimated 1.92 billion global digital buyers in 2019. I expect that figure has grown now we are in November 2019.  That’s a massive amount of potential customers that just keeps right on growing.

Which do I recommend?

At this point it depends what you want to do. Are you ready to build a business?
